We use this word Aloha a lot in Hawaii. It can mean Hello or Hi, it can mean I love you or just love, it can also be used for goodbye.

Yesterday we sent most of our time giving and getting Alohas from our dear friends here in Hawaii. It was wonderful seeing them all and 'talkin story' with them as they filled us in on all that's been going on since we left.

And wouldn't you know it... I forgot the camera!!!!! And as much as we LOVE our hotel, it's very far from the nearest bus stop, so we didn't have time to run back to get it. :(

BUT today, I've already got it in my bag to take with us. Our plans for the day are: after breakfast at the Oceanarium, we plan to take a leisurely trip to NORTH SHORE where we hear the waves are really BIG right now. And then this evening we will be dinning at our very favorite restaurant on Waikiki Beach, THE SHORE BIRD. It's really a fun place to go to relax and watch the sunset while having a dinner on the beach. Hopefully, I'll have pictures to share :)

Wish you all were here!
Aloha,
Rick & Sue
