Our little home in the sky...

If you click on the picture to your left you will see the apartment where we lived. It was wonderful because as you can see, we opened the windows on both sides of the apartment and were able to cool our home with the trade winds. From our bedroom we could see Pearl Harbor and the Pacific Ocean, from our living room we were able to see the Waianae Mountain Range and Kamahemeha Highway going up towards North Shore. This apartment was a real answer to prayer!!!!

Well, since we were so close to the new Super Walmart, we decided to stop in for some of our favorite local foods to bring back with us. It was a lot of fun seeing all the 'treats' that my boys loved when growing up. We also noticed that milk was about $.50 more a gallon, but everything else was the same as in Bellingham OR LESS!!!!!! We still can't get over the fact that gas is more in Bellingham, WA than it is here in Honolulu, Hi. Crazy... we live just a few miles from the pipeline and yet our gas costs more than those living thousands of miles away!

I guess we are going out for a while, so you be sure to check back tomorrow and see what we do then!!!!
